I believe the major problems in America can be contributed to a lack of moral compass. I believe the best moral compass is the Bible. So Bible-believing Christians must be an example of people who want and do pursue righteousness. After they are prove themselves as followers of the Bible, then perhaps non-Christians will be more willing to follow the moral code, and more importantly be willing to learn about the Gospel of Christ. But for Christians to make a bigger difference in America, they must stop/start doing the following:
• Obey the Ten-Commandments, and take sin seriously. Many Christians seem to do whatever they want during the week, and then attend church. They care more about materialism and entertainment then living God-honoring lives.
• Act loving. There are many Christians out there who show anger and are overly judgmental towards almost everyone, especially non-Christians.
• Believe the Bible is the ultimate authority of God. To stand up for something, you must believe without a doubt that what you are standing up for is true. No one will believe what you say, if you do not really believe what you say.
• Be unashamed of the Gospel.(which comes from believing the Bible is the ultimate authority.) If more Christians would engage the culture and promote their beliefs with enthusiasm and confidence, then more people would listen.
• Form a united body of Christ. Different denominations usualy stay separate from each other because of minor theological differences. Different denominations should get over these differences and instead stand together to spread the saving faith of Jesus Christ.
I hope these suggestions will help Christians have a bigger impact on America.
